Devotion at the end of 2012 and Devotion for the New Year!

I cannot say I regret 2012 is over and I am going to miss it! It was a tsunami year for me that shook pretty much every aspect of my life. It ended well, though. I am still standing and smiling and hoping for the best and so there was a happy end to last year.

Also for the last few weeks of the last year my ears and my soul were blessed with Devotion!!! Devotion is a precious thing, isn’t it? Who doesn’t want it? So, whose devotion touched my life in such a pleasant way? It’s a début record of an English singer and song writer, Jessie Ware that bears the lovely title of ‘Devotion’ and I totally fell in love with her music and the absolute grace and elegance the singer performs the songs that are a bliss both in tune and in text.

I am not at all surprised that her album ended up as no 5 in the UK charts last year! I have been listening to it non-stop in my car and on my mp3 player and it has made all my trips to the hospital and the tiring treatment a lot more bearable! 🙂

Jessie Ware reminds me of another fantastic singer, Sade Adu. I wish her career will be as fruitful as that of Sade’s. I cannot wait to see Jessie perform live and am green with jealousy when I read post on her FB page of fans thrilled to have seen her concert here or there! 🙂

I am a great fan of SBTRKT and Jessie Ware performed with him as well:

I am not the only one glad she did not remain a backing singer but is developing her career and providing music fans with yummy dishes for our ears! 🙂

Good luck with your career Jessie! 🙂
